Environmental news and technical innovation in the nonwovens sector

Huzhou - China's Zhejiang Kingsafe Nonwovens Fabric Co. has successfully started up a new Stream winder from Italian machinery manufacturer A.Celli,

The Stream winder, which handles PET and viscose spunlace fabric with weights of 30 to 50 gsm and a width of 3200mm, is part of a complete line that also includes a Rapid rewinder, a Slittomatic, an extractor, and an automated roll handling and packaging system.

The line, currently in shipment, has the start-up scheduled for the first half of 2019.

According to A. Celli, the stream winder will improve performance for acquisition distribution layer and top-sheet components and also enhance the softness and bulky texture of nonwovens fabrics. "The winder has proven to be perfectly compatible with the nonwovens production lines, thanks to A.Celli's technology, which makes it both versatile and efficient," the company said in a statement. "The Stream and Rapid solution by A.Celli Nonwovens has once again proven to be a guarantee for our customers."
