STEVENAGE – UK-based bioprocessing company Puridify has secured a new European patent relating to its nanofibre nonwoven purification technology for industrial biomolecule manufacturing.

EP 318726, published on July 5th this year, describes a process for preparing a polymeric medium, based on stacked sheets of nanofibre nonwovens which are heated and pressed to fuse points of contact between them.
