Environmental news and technical innovation in the nonwovens sector

Reifenhäuser Reicofil is now offering three separate meltblown options for the configuration of individual advanced spunmelt (SMS) nonwoven lines.

At the recent EDANA Filtrex conference in Berlin, meltblown research engineer Markus Wüscht explained that the company had developed what it calls a ‘cassette solution’ to enable the meltblown heads to be exchanged, in addition to being removed for easy maintenance and cleaning.

The meltblown options within the Reicofil ‘Meltblown Toolbox’ are based on both single row jet technology (the Exxon principle) and also on the multiple row technology developed by Biax Fiberfilm, with which Reicofil now has a co-operation.
