The developments honoured at the 13th Techtextil 2015 Innovation Award, presented on Monday in Frankfurt, included printers for three-dimensional woven structures, embroidered electrodes for long-term ECGs, algae-based snow, an artificial womb and a complete process for cultivating seaweeds on nonwovens and woven structures.
