    Acquisition will extend CiCLO’s biodegradable technology into hygiene, filtration, geotextiles and other synthetic-fibre applications

    Gastonia - Parkdale Advanced Materials has acquired full ownership of CiCLO technology, with plans to expand its use in nonwovens for hygiene, filtration, geotextiles, insulation and industrial applications.

    CiCLO is a patented additive incorporated into polyester and nylon during extrusion or spinning. It is available in filament and staple-fibre formats and is designed as a drop-in technology, allowing manufacturers to use existing machinery and standard production processes.
