Technical Fibre Products has started up a third production line at its Burneside Mills plant in Cumbria, UK, doubling production capacity in response to increasing demand for its specialised nonwovens across all markets.
The new line represents a significant investment in the expansion of the business. It is based on the company’s current proprietary wet-laid technology, but engineered to extend capability beyond previous constraints by increasing the production width to over two metres, enabling the company to access new markets.
