Environmental news and technical innovation in the nonwovens sector

INDA is expecting its largest turnout to date for this year’s Filtration 2015, which returns to Chicago’s Navy Pier from November 17-19.

Last year’s event – which marked the first time the conference, expo and filter media training course were held together – drew 1,400 delegates and the training course sold out.

“Filtration 2015 will once again deliver on its promise of ‘pure opportunity’ by bringing together high-quality educational programme content, training, product displays and connection opportunities in one location to advance the success of filtration professionals,” said INDA president Dave Rousse.

Conference highlights at Filtration 2015 will include:

  • Trends and Stats – Dave Rousse and Brad Kalil, INDA’s director of market research and statistics, will discuss North American market trends, statistics and the impact of recent mergers and acquisitions on the industry.
  • Cutting Edge Technologies – presentations on new developments and future requirements in cabin air filtration by Andreas Scope of Mann+Hummel, removing contaminants from water by Steven Dulin of GE Water and Process Technologies and closing the performance gap between electrospun membrane filter media by Fred Lybran of Elmarco, Inc.
  • Filtration Solutions – Speakers are Professor David Pui of the University of Minnesota and Bruce McDonald,Bruce McDonald Consulting.

Returning based on popular demand, INDA’s Nonwoven Filter Media Training Course will be held prior to the exposition, for a day and a half beginning, November 17th.
Led by Christine Sun of Filtration Technologies International, the course presents an opportunity to discover the principles of filtration, market and technology trends, technologies, products, test standards, unmet needs and the growing potential of filter media products.
