Fine fibre nonwovens and membranes come together in 3M’s new Emphaze AEX hybrid purifier designed to help biopharmaceutical manufacturers achieve high product purity early in the manufacturing process, while improving efficiency and process economics.
The new purifier is the first in what will be a series of chromatography and membrane chromatographic products, combining the technologies to deliver an all-synthetic clarifying product line containing both a novel anion exchange nonwoven media and a fine particle, bioburden reduction membrane.
