BERN – The separate collection of textile waste will become mandatory for all EU member states on January 1st 2025 – and the goal of turning it into new raw materials through the establishment of circular systems represents an enormous challenge.
This was a key theme at the special press conference organised by industry association Swiss Textile Machinery in Bern (March 16-18), ahead of this year’s ITMA exhibition in Milan from June 8-14.
