Environmental news and technical innovation in the nonwovens sector

ALBSTADT - Groz-Beckert will present its latest solutions for the nonwovens industry at this week's SINCE exhibition.

Taking place from 11-13 December, SINCE will take place at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center, Shanghai, China, where Groz-Beckert will be represented with its Felting and Carding product sectors in Hall 1, Booth 1Q20.

Within the Groz-Beckert customer product, the field of Felting will be presenting customer-specific needle designations for added know-how protection and protection from mix-ups. "We will be demonstrating the advantages of our Gebecon felting needle live at the booth and, for spunlace customers, we will be presenting the latest innovation in the field of hydroentanglement: the HyTec P jet strips," the company said.

The Carding product area will be presenting the new Groz-Beckert InLine card clothing series for the nonwovens industry at SINCE. This system offers the improved stability of the card clothing tooth, reduced downtime of the system and a significantly reduced running-in phase. The patented Groz-Beckert manufacturing procedure also enables energy-efficient and resource-saving production.

The SiroLock plus worker and doffer wire was developed as the first special geometry of the Groz-Beckert InLine card clothing series. In addition to the advantages of the Groz-Beckert InLine card clothings, the SiroLock plus also offers a more effective fibre take-up, control and release.

It combines a reduced rib height of the interlock card clothing with an improved strength of delicate card clothing teeth and a further optimized tooth geometry. These new properties are said to be not only effective in achieving reduced fibre fly; they also ensure a more uniform and homogeneous web.
