GUJARAT – Japanese sanitary products supplier Unicharm is set to build a new US$176 million disposable diaper plant in India, in a bid to boost its capacity by 50 per cent to cater to increased demand. The news comes just a month after a fire engulfed one of the company’s three factories, in the state of Rajasthan.
