Berry Plastics recorded net sales of US$6,489 million in its financial year to the end of September, compared to US$4,881 million in 2015. The year-over-year increase was primarily due to the acquisition of nonwovens leader Avintiv, but partially offset by a US$237 million decline in selling prices due to the pass-through of lower resin prices and a US$61 million negative impact from foreign currency changes.
