Softbond plans to add a fifth spunbonded nonwovens line at its plant in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to be installed and become operational in 2015.
It will boost production capacity by 40%, yielding a total production capacity of more than 1,400 tons per month.
As the second largest producer of spunbond fabric in Argentina, Softbond has a strong presence in the local market and also exports to neighboring countries Brazil, Uruguay, Chile and Paraguay.
