A special workshop on packaging applications for nonwovens will be held during INDEX 14, on the morning of Wednesday April 9 at Geneva Palexpo. 
New and environmentally-preferable applications for nonwovens in packaging applications continue to be found and strong growth in this application field is anticipated in the next few years - from fresh fruit to sofas! 
Nonwovens offer solutions for lightweighting, while their ability to be recovered or recycled, along with their strength and the opportunities they provide for product personalisation, is also driving progress.
