Sustainable Nonwovens talks to Robert Ward, Director of Geo-economics and Strategy at the international research institute IISS, who opens this year’s edition of EDANA's Outlook with a keynote presentation on “The outlook for the global economy in the aftermath of the pandemic”.
In a recent discussion with Haydn Davis, Editor of Sustainable Nonwovens, Mr. Ward shared his insight on the shape of the imminent recovery, likely winners, the disruption to supply chains and how the current noisy geopolitical stage impacts on business.
Indeed, the ongoing global pandemic has brought about a structural break for global economics and politics with some of the biggest shocks seen in centuries, and a persistent range of uncertainties impacting all facets of our work and daily life.
Outlook will be held online from the 21st to the 23rd of April. The full programme is available to view here
