Sustainable Nonwovens: At Techtextil 2017 you promoted a range of complete line technologies for the manufacture of technical textiles and nonwovens. The demand for needlepunched nonwovens seems to be buoyant at the moment, are you finding that reflected in machine sales?
Tobias Schäfer: Yes that’s certainly the case. The market for needlepunched products is growing across various end-use sectors, most notably in automotive and geotextiles. Many manufacturers are looking to expand and we are constantly improving our needlepunch lines to help them add value.
