The Paccar MX-13 diesel engine is built for large trucks and employs many new technologies to comply with Euro VI emissions standards. A two-stage fuel filter system employs Cummins NanoNet nonwoven filter media to provide high flow rates while filtering out 99% of particles as small as 4-microns.In the build up to  Filtech 2017, which takes place in Cologne, Germany, from October 11-13, managing editor Adrian Wilson outlines some of the sophisticated engineered nonwovens that are now required in modern engine filtration.
