Marketing Technology Service (MTS) is holding the 2015 Absorbent Products Design Seminar April 29-May 1 at the Radisson Plaza Hotel in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Aimed at those involved with personal hygiene and other absorbent nonwovens products, it includes two days of classroom-style sessions and concludes with the Friday morning tour of the MTS airlaid facilities and testing laboratories.
In addition to extensive use of videos, samples and demonstrations to illustrate the concepts for designing, qualifying and comparing disposables and materials during the lecture portion of the course, the airlaid plant tour will include the production of elaborate airlaid composites demonstrating the novel high-tech grades and concepts presented during the course.
“This course differs from typical association and academic training courses in that it presents practical information gained from 37 years of product and material development experience as the world disposables industry evolved,” says MTS director Jim Hanson. “It covers absorbent products design in a format understandable to non-technical people in sales, marketing or management, as well as technical people new to this industry. Delegates will find themselves exposed to a large amount of industry information that is generally considered to be secret.”
