HOUSTON – Biotechnology company, Solugen, has launched its first consumer product line – Ode to Clean wipes – which uses a patented enzyme combined with proprietary technology to eliminate the need for hydrogen peroxide disinfectants in nonwoven wipes.

The enzyme produces ultra-pure hydrogen peroxide which can be processed in a bioreactor to create ‘bioperoxide’, a renewable product made from 100 per cent plant-based starch.
