Ahlstrom compostable coffee lid material

AhlstromFibre-based materials company Ahlstrom will supply its polylactic acid (PLA) solution and vegetable parchment materials to Caffe Vergnano in Italy and Cap Mundo in France. The patented Ahlstrom GreenCapsule top lid is described as a fully compostable and biodegradable alternative to the common aluminium lid used in coffee capsules.
