Barry-Wehmiller Companies has executed a definitive agreement to acquire the operations of hygiene solutions, folded tissue, and integrated mail company Winkler+Dünnebier and POEM GmbH from Körber AG. Recent acquisitions by Barry-Wehmiller make the company a powerful player in machinery for hygienic disposables.
The acquisition includes Winkler+Dünnebier’s operations in Neuwied and Löhne, Germany, in addition to US subsidiary W+D North America, and Malaysian subsidiary W+D Asia Pacific.
