INDA has teamed up with the Maine Wastewater Control Association (MWWCA) in an effort to combat the clogging of wastewater system equipment with baby wipes.

The partners kicked off a consumer education campaign with a press conference in Maine on January 21, 2014 and will target select areas of Maine through television, newspapers, social media and direct mail with information under the slogan Save Your Pipes: Don’t Flush Baby Wipes. The intent is to communicate to consumers that some products are designed to be flushed, while others are not.
