Aplix 971 is a new resealable closure system for heavier packaging items such as hygienic nonwovens and wipes.

The hook-to-hook technology – part of the Aplix Easy-Lock range – allows consumers to easily reseal packaging without the need for precise alignment.

Made of food grade polyethylene, it is comprised of self-mating micro-hooks. Its key advantages are ease of us, since less pressure to open or close since precise alignment is not required, and its closure track is also far more resistant to particles from the contents of the package.

A consumer study conducted by Leatherhead Food Research in the UK found that 80% of respondents felt Easy-Lock to be the easiest closure system to use for the whole family, including children and elderly people.

Aplix is a global leader in fastening systems with six ISO 9001 certified plants in the USA, France, Brazil and China.
