Acquisition of Foshan United Medical strengthens its position as a vertically integrated, full‑service supplier in the global advanced wound care market

Freudenberg Performance Materials acquires Foshan United Medical

WEINHEIM - Freudenberg Performance Materials has acquired Foshan United Medical (UMT), a China‑based specialist in advanced wound care products, in a move aimed at building a full‑service offering for global healthcare customers.

The sellers are UMT founder and CEO Dr Xiaodong Wang and a private Chinese founding partner with the financial terms of the deal not disclosed.
