PureCycle partnership targets recycled PP films

PureCycle, Mitsui and RM Tohcello plan commercial recycled polypropylene BOPP and sealant films for packaging converters

ORLANDO - PureCycle Technologies has agreed a strategic partnership with RM Tohcello and Mitsui to introduce recycled polypropylene resins into biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) and polypropylene sealant films for flexible packaging applications in Japan.

The parties aim to formalise a commercial agreement in 2027, with shipments to Japanese converters following regulatory compliance on imports.
