    Saothair Capital Partners has acquired US-based airlaid materials producer EAM Corp from Domtar, signalling fresh investment in hygiene and medical nonwovens

    EAM develops and manufactures absorbent cores and related nonwoven structures

    JESUP - EAM Corp, a specialist producer of nonwoven airlaid and laminated absorbent materials, has been acquired by Saothair Capital Partners from Domtar Corporation through a newly formed affiliate.

    The deal positions EAM for a new phase of growth in hygiene, medical, industrial and food packaging applications under private equity ownership.
