NatureWorks gears up for international expansion

PLYMOUTH - NatureWorks is preparing to open its new, fully integrated Ingeo PLA manufacturing facility in Thailand as it positions itself for international growth amongst growing interest in biobased materials.

The new plant, located on the Nakhon Sawan Biocomplex (NBC) in Nakhon Sawan Province, Thailand, is designed to be a fully integrated PLA complex, including production sites for lactic acid, lactide, and polymer.
