    NatureWorks Thailand plant to open in 2025

    PLYMOUTH - NatureWorks, the manufacturer of low-carbon, Ingeo PLA biopolymers, says that construction of its new manufacturing facility in Thailand is on track with production and start-up activities projected to begin in 2025.

    As a fully integrated polylactic acid PLA complex, the plant in Nakhon Sawan Province, Thailand, will operate three manufacturing facilities including lactic acid fermentation, lactide monomer production, and polymerisation.
