Filtration opportunities aren’t always obvious, but even the most unlikely sectors need them. Like commercial pig farms, which already employ a number of both filters and pre-filters in rearing the animals and may soon be introducing many more.

At INDA’s Filtration 2014 conference and exposition, which will be held at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland, from November 18-20, Montserrat Torremorell of the School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Minnesota, will explain how research has validated the capability of air filtration systems to prevent the introduction of viruses into swine farms and reduce production losses.
