During this week’s ITMA Asia and CITME textile machinery show in Shanghai, CEMATEX announced the new ITMA Sustainable Innovation Award, in the run-up to  ITMA 2015, to be held in Milan, Italy, from November 12-19 next year.

“Sustainability, as we all know, is a major concern for global businesses involved in the textile and garment making chain,” said Charles Beauduin, president of the organisation, which represents European textile machinery manufacturers. “This is a part of our ongoing effort to encourage and recognise outstanding industry members and post-graduate students for their contributions to sustainable development.”
