INDA has announced a new date and location for its fifth annual RISE – Research, Innovation and Science for Engineered Fabrics – conference, formerly scheduled for September 8-11 2014, in Atlanta, Georgia.

It will now be held from February 9-12 2015, at Miami’s Downtown Hilton in Miami, Florida, following INDA’s acquisition of the Insight Conference from MTS, into which the Vision consumer hygiene products conference will now be integrated, to take place in October 2015.

Appealing to technology scouts and business/product developers in the nonwovens and engineered fabrics industries, RISE will focus on technical innovations and applications contributing to the creation of advanced products.

The conference will also announce the winner of the prestigious RISE Durable Product Award. This recognises innovation for a commercially-launched durable product intended to have a useful life longer than three years, employing nonwoven fabrics, or technologies to expand the usage of them.
