Sateri Holdings, which listed on the Hong Kong stock exchange in December 2010, continues to expand its capacities for dissolving wood pulp (DWP) and viscose staple fibre (VSF).
Rayon grades of dissolving wood pulp are the principal raw ingredient for the production of viscose staple fibre, which is used to produce nonwovens such as wipes as well as textiles and cellophane for packaging.
Speciality grades of pulp are also used to produce applications such as microcrystalline cellulose, ether, acetate and industrial filaments. Sateri’s products are manufactured to a high degree of purity, with an alpha-cellulose content of up to 98%.
