SHANGHAI – ITMA ASIA + CITME 2026 will take place from 20 to 24 November 2026 at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre in Shanghai, with visitor registration now open. The combined show will again focus on end-to-end nonwoven and textile processing technologies for Asian manufacturing markets.
According to the organisers, exhibitor numbers and booked floor space as of 24 March have already exceeded all previous editions of the event. This is being positioned as an indication of the textile machinery sector’s confidence in the Chinese and wider Asian markets as key production bases.
The 2026 edition will cover the full textile value chain, from spinning and man-made fibre production to weaving, knitting, printing, dyeing and finishing. Nonwovens, embroidery, garment, braiding, recycling, testing and packaging machinery, as well as components and textile chemicals, are also included in the scope.
Across these sectors, exhibitors are expected to highlight developments in digitalisation, intelligent manufacturing and lower‑impact production. For nonwovens and related roll‑to‑roll processes, this is likely to translate into higher automation levels, data‑driven process control and more energy‑efficient lines aimed at improving productivity and fabric consistency.
Online visitor pre‑registration opens on 25 May 2026 and will remain available until 19 November. International visitors can register via the official ITMA Asia and CITME websites, with the organisers encouraging advance booking to streamline entry and on‑site planning.
Participants who complete pre‑registration before 19 November will receive a 40% discount on admission tickets. Industry organisations arranging group visits for six or more people may also apply for additional preferential terms, supporting mills and brand teams seeking to send larger technical delegations.
The organisers have started an intensive visitor promotion campaign combining online channels with targeted outreach in key textile clusters. A programme of international roadshows is planned to attract buyers and strengthen links with major textile manufacturing regions ahead of the November event.
