FRANKFURT – Brückner will use Techtextil 2026 to highlight modular coating, drying and heat-setting systems for nonwovens, technical textiles and carpets, with a strong focus on energy flexibility.
Located in Hall 12.0, Booth B58, the company’s latest developments target mills seeking higher process reliability, lower energy use and greater flexibility in handling diverse technical fabrics and nonwoven structures.
In nonwoven finishing, Brückner’s Supra-Flow thermofusion ovens are positioned for applications such as upholstery, high-loft mattress materials, insulation and lightweight hygiene substrates including topsheets, paper napkins, hygiene products and ADL nonwovens.
The company also supplies high-speed spunlace lines for wet-laid nonwovens, wipes and wet wipes, extending its offer beyond traditional woven and knitted substrates into disposable and durable nonwoven markets.
For carpet and floorcovering producers, Brückner will spotlight the Duo-Therm dryer, which enables different upper and lower air temperatures for demanding thermal processes. This configuration is used for finishing or back-coating tufted and woven carpets, automotive and bath mats and artificial turf, supporting consistent pile setting and coating performance across varied product types.
For coating applications, Brückner offers modular units covering foam and paste application via roller and squeegee systems, laminating adhesive application and both full-surface and dot coating of latex or acrylate pastes, alongside full-bath impregnation for aqueous media. These lines are used to coat or laminate a wide range of technical substrates including abrasive cloth, airbags, blackout fabrics, geotextiles, tarpaulins and roofing membranes, with appropriate drying systems configured for each process.
A key element in these ranges is the ETRO dryer, designed for printing and varnishing lines and also available as a standalone unit. Operating without a chain or belt, it is aimed particularly at solvent-based coatings with low add-on levels, with a pneumatically adjustable upper section to improve accessibility for cleaning, maintenance and fabric threading.
Responding to rising energy costs and decarbonisation pressures, all Brückner systems can be specified with a choice of heating media, including direct and indirect gas, thermal oil, steam, electricity, hydrogen or combinations of these. This multi-energy approach is intended to help mills react quickly to energy price volatility and progressively shift towards lower-carbon options, with fully electric dryers enabling CO2-neutral operation when powered by renewable electricity.
The company also offers modular environmental and energy technology, such as air-to-air and air-to-water heat-recovery systems designed to cut process energy consumption and reduce production costs. A range of exhaust-air purification units, now available with automatic cleaning, is aimed at helping finishers meet emissions regulations while lowering manual maintenance requirements; these ECO modules can be retrofitted to existing Brückner lines or to machines from other suppliers.
With technical textile producers facing tighter environmental legislation and growing demand for more functional fabrics, Brückner says its presentation at Techtextil 2026 positions the company as a partner for mills seeking customisable, energy-flexible finishing solutions across woven, knitted and nonwoven applications.
