Ontex advances restructuring as adult care ramps up

Hygiene specialist has made operational savings, although sharply higher input costs have reduced 2026 profitability outlook

AALST - Belgian hygiene products producer Ontex reports that its restructuring programme is progressing on schedule, with €45 million of savings delivered in the first nine months of 2026.

The company is prioritising manufacturing efficiency, European adult care capacity and cash generation, while absorbing a steep rise in raw material costs during the third quarter.
