  • Green light for Lenzing €300m for nonwovens shift

    Capital increase will support Lenzing’s plan to expand nonwovens while consolidating its European textile-fibre manufacturing footprint

    LENZING – Cellulosic fibre specialist Lenzing A has received shareholder approval for a capital increase of approximately €300 million to reinforce its financial position and fund its “Grow Nonwovens, Reset Textiles” strategy.

    Lenzing said the decision, which was taken at an Extraordinary General Meeting on 25 August 2026, is intended to strengthen its equity base, balance-sheet structure and financial flexibility.
