Global consumption of thermal-bonded polyester nonwovens is projected to exceed 1.8 million tonnes by 2035, led by filtration and cleanroom applications

New York - Global demand for thermal-bonded polyester nonwovens is forecast to increase from an estimated 1.2 million tonnes in 2025 to more than 1.8 million tonnes by 2035, new research suggests.

The market research expects a compound annual growth rate of 4.8% over 2026-35, supported by industrial filtration, electronics, automotive and construction demand.
