Kimberly-Clark launches natural fibre platform

WICHITA - Kimberly-Clark has unveiled a proprietary alternative natural fibre innovation programme in as it looks to create a new agricultural feedstock for hygiene products.

The company says the platform is based on hesperaloe, a rapidly renewable succulent plant – ie. one that thrives in arid conditions - that that could strengthen supply resilience and reduce dependence on traditional fibre sources.
