    Essity says it works closely with suppliers to address climate-related impacts

    STOCKHOLM - Essity has outlined a series of global initiatives from the last few months spanning emissions control, logistics, period care and portfolio review, with several developments relevant to hygiene and tissue manufacturers, brand owners and industrial customers.

    In the period care segment, Essity launched a new generation of sanitary pads in Latin America and Europe. The products use an advanced fluid management system designed to absorb sudden gushes and distribute fluid more effectively, based on consumer research and a clinical sleep study.
