A new all-polyester bilayer nonwoven combines hydrophilic spunbond and hydrophobic electrospun layers to improve directional moisture management

QINGDAO - A new research study has outlined a fully polyester bilayer nonwoven that is designed to transport moisture in one direction.

The material combines a hydrophilic PET spunbond layer with a hydrophobic PET electrospun layer, targeting comfort textiles and medical-hygiene applications.
