Mondi adds recycled film for wet wipes

Mondi has developed a mono-PP flow-wrap for wet wipes that incorporates 35% post-consumer recyclate while remaining compatible with existing high-speed form-fill-seal lines

GRONAU - Mondi has introduced its re/loop FlowWrap solution for wet wipes, a mono‑polypropylene (PP) film incorporating 35% post‑consumer recycled (PCR) content and designed for recycling in PP mechanical streams.

The development targets brand owners and converters in the home and personal care segment seeking to align wet wipes packaging with forthcoming EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) requirements.
