Cotton Incorporated outlook highlights steady nonwoven tissue and hygiene growth, tightening cotton supply, and rising regulatory and sustainability pressure favouring plant-based fibres

In baby care, cotton’s strongest SKU presence is reported in disposable pants

CARY - Cotton Incorporated has released a new report which positions cotton as a technically viable and increasingly strategic alternative to synthetic fibres in the tissue and hygiene sector as brand owners navigate sustainability regulation, skin health demands, and tighter expectations on biodegradability and circularity.

The report, ‘Cotton in the Nonwoven Tissue & Hygiene Market’, draws on recent global consumer survey findings that link cotton with comfort, softness and quality and also shows where cotton can compete in a category driven by demand for product performance and material transparency.
