Joint venture targets growing demand for high‑tenacity recycled polyester yarns in industrial and apparel markets

Teijin Frontier to merge with Asahi Kasei

TOKYO - Teijin Frontier and Asahi Kasei Advance have confirmed that their previously announced joint venture will operate under the name TA Frontier, with operations set to begin in October 2026, focusing on high‑tenacity recycled polyester filament yarns for industrial and apparel applications.

The new entity combines Teijin Frontier’s fibre production and product conversion capabilities with Asahi Kasei Advance’s trading and materials expertise. The aim is to strengthen supply of recycled polyester filaments and related resin products with enhanced performance specifications.
