IMA supplies converting machines for the wipes and hygiene sectors

BOLOGNA - IMA Group, which supplies converting machines for the wipes and hygiene sectors, has had its near‑term science‑based emissions reduction targets officially validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

The SBTi validation applies to two absolute reduction commitments: a 42% cut in Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from a 2021 baseline and a 25% cut in Scope 3 emissions from a 2024 baseline, both to be achieved by 2030. Scope 1 and 2 emissions follow a 1.5°C‑aligned trajectory for operational impacts, while the Scope 3 target is set on a well‑below‑2°C pathway across the value chain.
