Provisional EU anti-dumping duties on Chinese PET spunbond imports signal a tighter trade environment for nonwovens producers and their downstream customers in Europe

EDANA welcomes anti-dumping measures

BRUSSELS – EDANA has welcomed the European Commission’s imposition of provisional anti-dumping duties of 45.6-50.0% on imports of PET spunbond nonwovens fabrics from China.

The measures, the result of an eight‑month investigation, are intended to address alleged dumping practices that the Commission says have materially harmed EU producers.
