US purified cotton supplier recruits former Kelheim technical leader to drive growth amid rising demand for natural absorbent materials

CHARLOTTE - Barnhardt Manufacturing has appointed Richard Reid, a specialist in absorbent fibres with more than 40 years' industry experience, to a newly created business development and technical services role at the Charlotte, North Carolina–based company.

Reid will support sales, marketing, strategic planning, and customer engagement as the company seeks to expand its position in global markets for purified cotton used in hygiene, medical, and nonwovens applications.
