STOCKHOLM - Ahlstrom’s 226 filter paper has been confirmed as a key component in a newly published dried urine strip method for chlamydia and gonorrhoea diagnostics led by the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC).
The work, reported in the Journal of Clinical Microbiology, describes a dried urine strip (DUS) format that allows end users to collect urine samples themselves while maintaining the analytical performance of laboratory-based molecular tests.
