GENEVA – H.B. Fuller will use INDEX 26 in Geneva to showcase how adhesive technology is helping reshape absorbent hygiene products for the diaper and broader hygiene sectors.
The company will be at Hall 1, Booth 1522, where it plans live demonstrations and technical discussions focused on performance, efficiency and sustainability.
A major theme of the H.B. Fuller presentation is that adhesives do far more than simply hold structures together. In baby diapers and other absorbent hygiene articles, they contribute to construction, positioning, wetness indication and core integrity, while also supporting manufacturing speed and material efficiency. That combination is increasingly important as converters look for ways to reduce waste, lower energy use and maintain product quality.
H.B. Fuller will highlight a portfolio that includes low application temperature solutions, high-mileage adhesives, specialty core technologies and bio-based options. These products are designed to support more efficient production and help manufacturers advance sustainability goals without compromising diaper fit, comfort or absorbency. The company says the technologies can reduce energy consumption and support carbon footprint reduction across the value chain.
A key launch at the show will be a new core adhesive solution engineered to enable the use of short fibres in absorbent hygiene products. That development is especially relevant for diaper makers seeking to balance raw material flexibility with reliable performance in the core. By addressing short-fibre processing challenges, the adhesive is intended to help maintain product integrity while opening up new formulation possibilities.
The company will also present next-generation positioning and construction adhesives, along with wetness indicator solutions and other specialty offerings tailored to evolving market needs.
H.B. Fuller says its Full-Care portfolio extends beyond products to include process optimisation, application support and global technical service, backed by a worldwide R&D network and deep application expertise.
Visitors can also hear from H.B. Fuller experts through on-site podcasts covering hygiene and nonwovens trends. The company will further spotlight its technical presentation, “Core Adhesive Solution Enabling the Use of Short Fibres in Hygiene Products,” presented by Karsten Voss on May 20 at 13:30 CET.
