LEEDS – Fibre Extrusion Technology Limited (FET) will return to Techtextil 2026 later this month, using the event to highlight its latest fibre extrusion technologies for technical textiles and nonwovens.
The company said the exhibition offers an ideal platform to demonstrate how its equipment helps manufacturers tackle demanding processing challenges.
FET is a recognised global supplier of laboratory and pilot melt spinning systems for applications ranging from high-value technical textiles and sportswear to medical devices and specialist fibres from exotic and difficult-to-process polymers.
Where melt spinning is not the best fit, the company also offers pilot and small-scale production wet spinning systems. It has recently expanded its portfolio with the FET-500 Series of gel spinning systems, which it says could transform UHMWPE fibre research and development while reducing cost, footprint and environmental impact.
As part of the launch, FET Senior Scientist Dr Kristoffer Kortsen will speak at the Techtextil Forum in Hall 9.1, Booth D50, on Wednesday April 22 at 16:50. Visitors are invited to hear more about FET’s process using super-critical fluids, which the company says has already been used to process more than 130 polymer types in multifilament, monofilament and nonwoven formats.
The company also plans to highlight its Fibre Development Centre, which allows customers to trial products in a purpose-built environment using resident equipment that reflects FET’s wider range of extrusion systems.
Managing director Richard Slack, who will be on stand with his technical team, said: “We have now exhibited at over 10 Techtextil exhibitions around the world and we again look forward to meeting customers face-to-face to discuss their fibre technology requirements.”
FET will be located in Hall 12.0, Stand 078.
