WEINHEIM – Freudenberg Performance Materials will spotlight new nonwoven and coated textile solutions for next-generation mobility and industrial applications at Techtextil 2026 in Frankfurt.

The company will appear with its MehlerHeytex and Filc businesses at Stand A11 in Hall 11.0 from April 21–24, 2026.

Under the banner “Engineered solutions that move the world,” MehlerHeytex will make its first Techtextil appearance since the merger of Mehler Texnologies and Heytex, positioning itself as a leading specialist in coated technical textiles.

The combined brand brings together extensive know-how, offering one of the market’s most comprehensive technology platforms and serving a broad spectrum of international industries. Following the merger, customers benefit from an expanded global footprint with more sales offices, local-language contacts and shorter communication channels.

MehlerHeytex will present itself as a preferred development partner for tailored coated solutions, targeting demanding applications across industrial, transport and architectural sectors. The platform aims to increase efficiency and performance while supporting customers’ sustainability objectives through material choices and process optimisation.

The Techtextil showcase is expected to underline how the brand’s global network and broadened portfolio translate into improved service and enhanced customer-centric project support.

Freudenberg Performance Materials Filc will focus on advanced needlepunch nonwovens and laminates for automotive interiors, emphasising acoustic comfort, lightweight design and recyclability. Filc’s portfolio at the fair will span acoustic materials, seat nonwovens and solutions for luggage compartments, highlighting the balance of functionality, comfort and sustainability demanded by modern vehicles.

A key highlight will be Finsol acoustic nonwovens, which combine low weight with high sound absorption to reduce in-vehicle noise levels. The materials are suitable for numerous components, including door panels, trunk liners, headliners and wheel-arch liners, and their low basis weights support improved energy efficiency and range in electric vehicles. Finsol is available in 100% polyester versions and blends incorporating recycled content, supporting OEM sustainability targets.

For complex seat constructions, Filc will present low-emission, low-flammability, dimensionally stable nonwovens that enhance seating comfort, climate control and process efficiency during manufacture and assembly.

Options include FilFlex, a padding material made from 100% PET that is designed for recyclability at end of life. In the luggage area, Filc has developed abrasion-resistant, lightweight nonwovens that remain durable under extreme environmental conditions and are fully recyclable. These materials open up wide design possibilities, from customized colours and embossing to easy-clean surface treatments tailored to OEM branding and interior concepts.
